Welcome to MOVE ON THE KUSP!

Holiday Greetings to Everyone!

As dance classes ended last week for the holiday break and I had a chance to catch up on some administrative work as well as spend some time in reflection, I have come to face some decisions for myself and for the work that I do here in our community through the studio.

These last four years have been some of the most amazing years of my life; being able to teach and train in our wonderful community with the amazing dancers, yogis, movers and shakers who have shown up to build their skills, step outside their comfort zone and challenge themselves physically, emotionally and mentally. I am so happy to have had this opportunity and the support of everyone who showed up for classes, enrolled in programs or supported their kids in the dance programs.

So, it is with bittersweetness that I must announce that this is where Move on the Kusp will say goodbye and will be closing its doors in January.
Financially this business has come to a crossroads and I am realizing the limits of my ability to continue, even with the classes that are running in the current season.

Dance classes will not return for January 2 as originally planned. Any costume deposits, class fees or festival fees that were paid will be reimbursed by cheque along with a final receipt outlining all fees paid for 2016 for tax purposes.

Yoga classes with Dylan (Mon/Wed/Fri 9AM-10:15AM) will continue into mid-January – any punch pass holders with classes that are still valid are asked to use their passes up by January 23, 2017.

It has been a very rewarding and wonderful journey – I am so proud of everything that has been accomplished. I am so grateful for this learning experience and for the things that I will take with me for the rest of my life from knowing each of you.
